There she goes again!
That young lady there,
With her nose in a book,
Does she even know we are here?
*
She gets so lost in the stories,
So caught up in suspense,
She reads every moment she is able,
About anything else, she couldn’t give two cents!
*
One thing about her,
Of which I am sure,
She truly recognizes something,
That most people tend to ignore.
*
Books should be cherished,
They should be held in esteem,
For they enlighten the mind,
And give us reasons to dream.

Yes, books should be cherished. A proper book is much better than digital. Also it is better to see someone with their nose buried in a book rather than their phone.

Excellent take on both prompts! There’s nothing like sitting in a nook reading a hardback book. Thank you for much for participating. 🌻 🌞
